CLAMP DISK, MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ATTACHING/DETACHING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp disk easily assembled and removed, and having uniform holding performance of a magnetic disk in a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: A clamp disk has a web-shaped part concentric to an inner diameter and a radial slit part. By using a fixture to push and expand the web-shaped part of the clamp disk in a circumferential direction, the inner diameter of an innermost peripheral part brought into contact with the lead part of a spindle hub is expanded to attach or removed the clamp disk to or from the spindle hub.
