PURPOSE: A method for controlling a motor of a drum type washing machine is provided to rotate a motor in proper combination of different first and second RPMs for securing a space for separating or compressing clothing by centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a motor of a drum type washing machine includes the steps of repeating the first stirring number(R1) set for the stirring operation of a motor which rotates by a set first rpm(S10), repeating the second stirring number(R1) set for the stirring operation of the motor which rotates by a set second rpm(S11), and returning to the initial step if a set stirring time is not lapsed(S12). |
