PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type pump, in which displacement operation of servo-piston is stabilized and assembly workability is enhanced. SOLUTION: The swash plate type pump comprises a housing 2, a drive shaft 4, a swash plate 3, and the servo piston 13 for inclining the swash plate. A first support hole 16 and a second support hole 17 as a cylinder are coaxially formed inside the housing 2, so that the support holes are opposite to each other. One end of the servo piston 13 is inserted into the first support hole 16, and the other end thereof is inserted into the cylinder 16. One spring seat 21a is formed at a housing part on the first support hole 16, the other spring seat 21b is formed to the servo piston 13, and a coil spring 22 is disposed between the spring seats to urge the servo piston 13 toward the cylinder 17.
