PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a partition plate in common for machine chambers different in a shape and thereby to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: The partition plate 15 for the machine chambers, which is provide in the machine chamber of a refrigerator, is made of a synthetic resin and has the main body 30 of the partition plate and a dimension-variable part 32 molded integrally in the upper edge part of the main body 30 through the intermediary of a self-hinge part 31. The partition plate 15 for the machine chambers can be changed in the height dimension according to the case where the dimension-variable part 32 is bent to the main body 30 side and to the case where this part 32 is so extended as to project upward from the main body 30, and therefore the plate can be used in common to machine chambers different in the dimension in the height direction.
