ANTI-VIBRATION APPARATUS FOR BUILDING

PURPOSE: An anti-vibration apparatus is provided to efficiently absorb and/or inhibit vibration of upper structure relative to bottom structure of a building and to permit a constant distance of horizontal flow of the bottom structure while keeping the upper structure from leaving out of the bottom structure. CONSTITUTION: The anti-vibration apparatus comprises a number of bearings(50); spring components(70) prepared in load direction of the upper structure(10) within respective bearings(50); and clamp components(60) to inhibit escape of the upper structure(10) from the bottom structure(20). A plurality of top anchors(32) are located on faces of a top support(30) between both structures(10,20). The anchors(32) are laid into the structure(10) to fix the upper support(30) to the structure(10). Similarly, a plurality of bottom anchors(42) are placed on faces of a bottom support(40) between both structures(10,20).
