PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose seated posture holding device capable of holding a stable seat posture when a physically handicapped person having difficulties in holding the seat posture because of his/her bending of a body trunk (spine) is seated. SOLUTION: In this seat posture holding device, a base part 1 having an outside shape substantially equal to that of a seat face in a vehicle and having a facing connectable to a hook-and-loop fastener male face is arranged, while human body upper side part supporting pads 2 each having a hook-and-loop fastener female face sewn on it and a leg part and buttock part supporting pad 3 are placed and fixed. When the human body upper side part supporting pads 2 are fastened together by means of a fastening band 8 while clamping a human body between them, the body trunk is stabilized, and consequently, the seat posture of the physically handicapped person can be held.
