PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack assist type electric power steering device realizing an enhancement of operability and a solving of backlash at a gear train of a driving system. SOLUTION: An elastic bush 61 comprising an elastic body such as a synthetic rubber is interposed between a ball nut 41 and a bearing 43. The elastic bush 61 comprises a cylindrical part 63 externally fitted to an inner ring 43a of the bearing 43 and flange parts 65 formed on both ends of the cylindrical parts 63. An end surface of the inner ring 43a is butted to inner end surfaces of both flange parts 65. An outer end surface of one flange part 65 is butted to a stepped part 71 of the ball nut 41 and an outer end surface of the other flange part 65 is engaged with a snap ring 73.
