PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system for obtaining an enlarged image by using an imaging device, such as, for example, a CCD camera and the like. SOLUTION: In such a case the enlarged image is picked up by the CCD camera 1, a mounting section 2 disposed at the CCD camera 1 is mounted with an objective lens 4 by means of a first adapter 3. In such a case the CCD camera 1 is used on the eyepiece insertion section 220 side of a microscope 200, an eyepiece 220 of the microscope 200 is mounted with a second adapter 6 and further the CCD camera 1 by means of a fourth adapter 7 at need. In such a case the CCD camera 1 is used on a C mount section 210 side of the microscope 200, the C mount section 210 of the microscope 200 is mounted with the CCD camera 1 by means of a third adapter 5.
