PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost a door stop which has a simple structure and can be fitted easily. SOLUTION: The door stop comprises a body A which is fitted to the lower part of a door C and has an attracting face 2 provided with a magnet 1 and a base B which is fitted to a floor surface D and is provided with a tongue piece 4 made of a magnetic material and being rotatable from a horizontal posture to a slanting one, and the tongue piece 4 is attracted by the magnet 1, pulled up and attracted to the attracting face 2 when the door C comes to a position of opening. In this structure, a pivotal part 3 of the tongue piece 4 is formed integrally in a state of projecting from the opposite sides of a base end part of the tongue piece 4, and the base B comprises a base board 6 having an opening 5 allowing the tongue piece 4 to come out and to get in and a support plate 7 fitted in the base board 6 from below. The pivotal part 3 of the tongue piece 4 is fitted rotatably in a groove 8 formed in the support plate 7 and the upper side of the pivotal part 3 is closed up by the base board 3, while a stopper for regulating a rise angle of the tongue piece 4 when it rises to a prescribed slanting angle is provided in the base B.
