PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a tilling implement body, by which operating ground can be tilled so as to have plane ground in a short time. SOLUTION: A ground operating apparatus (a tilling implement body) 2 liftably attached to the rear of a tractor (agricultural implement) 1 and tilling the operating ground 6 in a set deepness D is controlled so as to dig up the operating ground 6 shallowly than the set deepness D by a corrected set deepness D' obtained by correcting the set deepness D with a correction amount S, when the apparatus 2 is positioned in a prescribed moving distance L from a position starting traveling of the ground operating device 2.
