PURPOSE: A method for adjusting the computer volume by a keyboard is provided to enable a user to conveniently and directly adjust the volume while using the keyboard by installing a volume adjusting device such as a wheel or a button to the keyboard. CONSTITUTION: A computer is booted up(st1). An OS(Operating System) such as the Windows 95 is executed(st3). A volume control program controlling the volume adjusting device such as the wheel or the button is installed to the computer(st4). While executing a music program, the volume adjusting device installed to the keyboard directly adjusts the volume according to the method for operating the volume adjusting device to up/down or right/left(st5). If the volume is adjusted to the desired volume, the adjusted volume is outputted(st6). If the volume adjustment is failed, the program waits for the user's input again by returning to the step 4.
