A remote telephone has a housing (2), microphone (4) and remote ear piece (5) and is equipped with a hands-free device for the operator. The hands-free device has two air channels (9,10) for transmission of sound waves, in which one air channel (9) forms an air chamber (12) corresponding to the microphone (4), and in which the air channel (10) is designed to form an air chamber (13) corresponding to the remote ear-piece (5). An Independent claim is given for a hands-free telephone device.
