摘要 FIELD: optical communication. SUBSTANCE: method is realized in gear including first source of luminous radiation, mirror, two thin partially transmitting layers scattering or absorbing energy of electric field of standing light wave mounted with inclination to plane of mirror, beam splitting element positioned between mirror and one layer, reception unit optically coupled to beam splitting element, second source of optical signals. Reflecting coat is made of photochrome material or of material which dielectric permittivity changes while exposed to luminous radiation. Salient feature of method consists in transmission and reception of optical signals with employment of standing light wave. Technical result of invention lies in possibility of increased density of information transmission and reception by factor of 106-108 times.
