PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing oriented electrical steel sheets which can optimize magnetic properties by monitoring the amount of precipitate via improved high temperature creep deformation test is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a manufacture method of an oriented electrical steel sheet comprising Si 2.9 to 3.3 wt.%, C 0.025 to 0.055 wt.%, Mn 0.45 wt.% or less, S 0.007 wt.% or less, sol Al 0.006 to 0.027 wt.%, N 0.008 to 0.012 wt.%, Cu 0.6 wt.% or less, P 0.015 wt.% or less, a balance of Fe and other unavoidable impurities, the method includes the steps of preheating a specimen of the oriented electrical steel sheet at a temperature range between solid solution treatment temperature thereof and precipitation formation temperature thereof; performing creep deformation test after cooling the specimen to the soaking temperature thereof at which precipitates are generated for obtaining the precipitation initiation time of precipitates at the soaking temperature; repeating above creep deformation test at least three times at different temperatures for obtaining precipitation initiation time corresponding to each soaking temperature; and plotting above precipitation initiation time and each soaking temperature to draw phase transformation graph of precipitates.
