PURPOSE: A stop apparatus of transfer articles is provided to stop the transfer article accurately by transmitting impact of the transfer article through mechanical structure without directly transmitting impact to a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A stop device of a transfer article is composed of a pneumatic cylinder(2) fixed in a bracket(6) arranged in a line structure by a first hinge(8), and turned around; a supporting member(34) turned around the lower part, and fixed in the bracket by the hinge to hold the transfer article by the upper part in lifting; a pullback preventive unit arranged between the pneumatic cylinder and the supporting member to prevent the supporting member from being pushed by the transfer article. The transfer article is stopped accurately without being pushed.
