PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economic packaging apparatus capable of performing a simple and positive packaging of irregular shaped item to be packaged without showing any accidental drop, and capable of being used repeatedly for packaging operation. SOLUTION: There are provided a flexible cover member 1 and a pair of connecting levers 2 connecting both ends of the cover member 1 so as to keep their extended states, and there is provided an engaging means for engaging with the pair of connecting levers 2 to hold the over member 1 in an extended state for packaging and depressing the item to be packaged by the cover member 1.
