PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that has a transfer device, having a transfer roller in which transfer bearings are easily detached, without using snap-fit mechanisms which serve as guides for the transfer bearings. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has the transfer device, and the transfer device has the transfer roller 5 for transferring a toner image formed on an image carrier to a transfer material, the transfer bearings 12 for supporting both ends of the transfer roller, so that the roller is freely rotatable, and an energizing member 14 for energizing the transfer roller to the image carrier via the transfer bearings. In the imaging apparatus, the transfer bearings of the transfer device are provided, so as to be freely detachable in the direction of the axis of the transfer roller. |
