PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain parts (chip component holder) the circuit constant of which can be set with high accuracy and which can reduce the labor and time required at the time of exchanging a chip component for another. SOLUTION: The main body 3 of the chip component holder 1 is provided with external terminals T1 and T2 used at the time of connecting the holder 1 to an external circuit and recessed sections 4, 4, etc., into which chip resistors (chip components) 2 can be inserted. The main body 3 can attachably/detachably hold the chip resistors 2, because the main body 3 is provided with electrodes E and E which hold the chip resistors 2 inserted into the recessed sections 4. The electrodes E and E are electrically connected to the external terminals T1 and T2, respectively. Since the main body 3 is also provided with switches SW1, SW1, etc., which switch the connection between the electrodes E and E of each recessed section 4 with the electrodes E and E of other recessed sections, the inserted chip resistors 2 can be connected in series and the external terminals T1 and T2 can be connected to both ends of the serially connected chip resistors 2, or the chip resistors 2 can be connected in parallel between the terminals T1 and T2.
