PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching connector in which the filling material is steadily held and insulation can be maintained securely. SOLUTION: In the branching connector 1, at least one of the covers 2, 4 has a branching conductor 18 that is covered by an insulating elastic body 20, and both ends of the branching conductor 18 face a main line holding part 14 and a branch line holding part 16 respectively, and the main line holding part 14 and the branch line holding part 16 of a pair of covers 2, 4 are opposed to each other and tightened by a connecting bolt, thereby, the main line and the branch line are made conducted through the branching conductor 18. The insulating elastic body 20 has two cavities that are formed at the main line holding part 14 and the branch line holding part 16 respectively, and the both ends of the branching conductor 18 are exposed to the bottom part of the above each cavity respectively.
