Method for multiple use of a receiver assembly in which the assembly has a receiver unit for normal operation and has a test function for testing of the receiver unit with receiver signals. The test function has a number of analysis functions for determining the different properties of the received test signal. The analysis functions can be selected independently of each, dependent on the test function selected, via an interface (PS2) with the same interface used to transfer parameters for execution of the analysis function. Independent claims are also included for: (1) A corresponding computer program; (2) A component assembly, especially an xDSL assembly with a receiver unit. |
