<p>An artificial lumen comprising a expansible member, and a tubular member of a porous material surrounding the expansible member, wherein easy insertion thereof into a living body lumen, and the characteristics to be satisfied by the artificial lumen after the insertion thereof into the living body lumen, are compatible with each other. The artificial lumen has a product of Q1 = (Sa x Sb x Sc) of 6 x 10<4> or less, provided that Sa (mm) denotes the bending resistance of the porous material by the cantilever bending resistance testing method, Sb (mg/cm<2>) denotes the weight of the porous material, and Sc (ml•cm<-2>•min<-1>) denotes the water-permeability of the porous material according to the ANSI/AAMI standard. <IMAGE></p> |
