PURPOSE: A piercing device for a press is provided to reduce the number of parts by integrally forming a cam rod with a piston rod of a pneumatic cylinder and to minimize the entire length of the piercing device. CONSTITUTION: A piston rod(35) of a pneumatic cylinder(33) is placed toward the inside of a punch set block(21). A cam rod(39) is connected to the front end of the piston rod via a connecting bar(37). The cam rod moves forward and backward by the operation of the pneumatic cylinder and pushes a contact plate(29) placed on the upper end of a piercing punch(25). Thus, the piercing punch moves along guide holes and forms a hole in a panel.
