HIGH-PASS COIL FOR PICKING UP MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGES

PURPOSE: A high-pass coil is provided to maintain uniformity of images even under the average magnetic field of 1.5T, and achieve improved signal-to-noise ratio. CONSTITUTION: A high-pass coil comprises legs(40) shaped as a staircase and disposed at a constant interval along the outer periphery of a cylinder having a predetermined length, in such a manner that both ends of each leg are perpendicularly bonded to each end ring(50,60) which is attached to both ends of the cylinder so as to form a closed loop. Condensers are bonded, at a constant interval, to the end rings disposed between legs, and a BNC cable(70) connected to both sides of one condenser bonded to the end ring.
