SOLUTION: A request signal transmission means 102 in the car navigation device 1 transmits vehicle size information housed in a vehicle size information housing means 101 and present position information acquired by a present position information acquisition means 100 to a parking lot management center 3 together with a request signal for acquiring the vacant parking lot information. In the parking lot management center 3, the information is received by a request signal reception means 301, and the vacant parking lot information is retrieved based on the received vehicle size information and present position information by a vacant parking lot information retrieval means 302, and the retrieved vacant parking lot information is returned by a vacant parking lot information transmission means 303.
