PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent mechanical performances, small anisotropy of the molding, and among others, excellent thermal resistance and retention stability. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 1 to 99 pts.wt. of a crystalline thermoplastic resin, and (B) 99 to 1 pts.wt. of a copolymer comprising (i) an unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester unit, (ii) a glutaric acid anhydride unit expressed by formula (1) (where R<1> and R<2> are the same or different and each represents hydrogen atom or a 1-5C alkyl group), or a copolymer having (iii) an unsaturated carboxylic acid unit in addition to the above units, or a copolymer having (iv) another vinylic monomer unit in addition to the above (i) (ii) or (i) (ii) (iii) units.
