PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cartridge with which assembly work can be appropriately performed. SOLUTION: This magnetic tape cartridge is provided with an opening part 11 for magnetic tape drawing that is on side wall parts 21 and 31 of a cartridge case 1 over a lower case 2 and an upper case 3, and a slide door 5 for opening/ closing the opening part 11. On one side edge of each guide grooves 24 and 34 disposed on the lower case 2 for guiding the slide action of the slide door 5 at least, guide projections 29 and 39 are provided with slopes 29a and 39a inclined downward to the side of the guide grooves 24 and 34.
