PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device, capable of reproducing sub-picture information, regardless of its being video or voice. SOLUTION: This optical disk reproducing device is provided with a first input means for designating a sub-picture reproduction mode for reproducing only sub-picture information as an operation mode, a second input means for inputting a display-switching instruction for switching the displayed sub-picture information, and a sub-picture information display control means for switching and displaying the sub-picture information, each time the display switching instruction is inputted, when the sub-picture reproduction mode is designated as the operation mode.
