PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor for storage and retrieval of medical images conducted by a medical facility itself. SOLUTION: A medical facility 10 transmits medical images taken by it to an image reading center 20 to request to make a report on the medical images. The image reading center 20 transmits the medical images to an image reading site 30 through a communication line to request to make a report on the medical images. The image analysis site 30 makes a report on the reading of the medical image, selects key images from the medical images, and transmits the report and the key images to the image reading center 20. The image reading center 20 transmits the report and the key images, which it has received from the image reading site 30, to the medical facility 10 and stores the report and the key images. The medical facility 10 may retrieve the report and the key images easily by accessing the image reading center 20, if necessary. |
