PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig saw capable of securing a high dust collecting efficiency and visibility at a cutting part in order to solve the problem that though the conventional jig saw for cutting by reciprocating a blade is provided with a transparent cover fitted in front of the blade in order to efficiently collect dust by controlling the scattering range of chips, the chips are apt to stick to the transparent cover and obstracts the sight of the cutting part. SOLUTION: A dispersing range of chips is controlled by blowing out a motor cooling wind from the front of a cutting part (a blade B) via a blowing out nozzle 56 connected to the lee side 45 of a motor cooling wind via a hollow part 50a of a supporting shaft 50 for supporting a back roller 52.
