DRINKING STRAW ATTACHING MEANS AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking straw attaching means and method for the same which can reduce the sticking of an adhesive. SOLUTION: A feeding means 12 has recessed portions 58 at least at a part where two drinking straws 4 are cut off by a cutting means 14, a vertical position of the recessed portion 58 corresponds with an adhesive layer 8, and a vertical extention of the recessed portion 58 corresponds with at least the width of the adhesive layer 8. A band 6 with drinking straws is cut into a plurality of pieces between individual straws within the range of the feeding means 12 by the cutting means 14, and the cutting means 14 passes through the adhesive layer 8 and the band 6 with drinking straws at the vertical position corresponding with the adhesive layer 8 to reach into the recessed portion 58 corresponding with at least the width of the adhesive layer in the vertical extention provided in the feeding means 12, so that the drinking straw 4 is attached to a drinking container.
