PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device for a vehicle, capable of improving ease of operation, and increasing flexibility in an on-vehicle layout. SOLUTION: Signals from a blowing-off mode selecting dial switch 11, an automatic switch 21, and an air conditioning control part 41 are inputted into an operation display control part 61. The output of the operation display control part 61 is connected with indicator display parts 35a-35e and the air conditioning control part 41. The operation display control part 61 determines a blowing-off mode based on the direction and frequency of rotational operation of the blowing-off mode selecting dial switch 11, controls lighting of the indicator display parts 35a to 35e so as to indicate the determined blowing-off mode, and outputs operational information including the determined blowing-off mode to the air conditioning control part 41. When an automatic control mode is selected by the automatic switch 21, the operation display control part 61 controls the lighting of the indicator display parts 35a to 35e based on the signal from the air conditioning control part 41 so as to indicate the blowing-off mode determined by the air conditioning control part 41.
