PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost image forming device capable of automatic both-sided printing. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a fixing drive transmission mechanism (power transmission means) C. The fixing drive transmission mechanism has a first motor (first drive source), rotatable in the normal and reverse directions, which drives an intermediate paper ejection roller (switchback carrying means) 13a and a fixing unit 12. The fixing drive transmission mechanism also has a second motor (second drive source) 18 which drives at least a drive part of an image forming section A1. When the first motor 21 rotates in the normal direction, a drive force is transmitted to the fixing unit 12 from the first motor 21. When the first motor 21 rotates in the reverse direction, the drive force is not transmitted to the fixing unit 12 from the first motor 21. |
