PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-containing curable composition hardly influenced by a coating environment or coating conditions, exhibiting excellent curability at a low temperature without using a large amount of a polymerization catalyst, and capable of forming a cured product excellent in hardness and other performances. SOLUTION: The curable composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a polymerizable cyclic structure-containing component (A) comprising a compound (a-1) bearing in one molecule at least two polymerizable cyclic ether structures and, if necessary, a compound (a-2) bearing in one molecule one polymerizable cyclic structure, 0.01-5 pts.wt. of a metal triflate (B) of a specific metal, and 0.1-250 pts.wt. of water (C), where the polymerizable cyclic structure-containing component (A) has an average polymerizable cyclic structure equivalent in the range of 100-1,000.
