PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the appearance of a void on a tooth face by using machining technology of metals, when manufacturing a resinous worm wheel. SOLUTION: A blank body 10 for a resinous worm wheel is die-molded. The blank body 10 is uniform in a tooth height h1 and a tooth thickness t1 over the whole tooth width direction, and also the position of the tooth depth 12 is constant. Formation of the blank body 10 is made in a dimensional shape imparting cutting allowance for machining of metals, and then the blank body 10 is subject to machining of metals and machined for both of a tooth part 11 and a tooth bottom 12. The tooth part 11 is machined, so that the tooth thickness becomes large at the both ends of the tooth width direction and small at center of the tooth width direction, and is finished to the tooth face of the determined worm wheel. The tooth bottom 12 is also machined, so that the tooth bottom appearing on the section of the worm wheel is finished to the tooth bottom 1, figuring an arc shape.
