PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a metal tap sound and vibration and noise of an engine by suppressing deformation of a bearing surface due to thermal expansion and maintaining a clearance between the bearing surface and a crankshaft in a constant condition with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Casting materials 18, 19 are respectively cast and molded in an upper portion of a bearing section 13 of a cylinder block 11 of light metal alloy and in a lower portion of a bearing cap section 14 connected to the bearing section 13, the casting material having a coefficient of linear expansion larger than that of the light metal alloy. The deformation of the casting materials 18, 19 due to thermal expansion suppresses radially expanding deformation, caused by thermal expansion, of bearing surfaces 15a, 15b respectively formed by the bearing section 13 and the bearing cap section 14.
