PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a billing meter controller of printer in which matching performance of a billing meter is enhanced by preventing erroneous operation of a mechanical counter. SOLUTION: Trouble ON check is performed when a receiving count storage area counts up in the count up signal reception processing and, in the case of trouble OFF, count up operation of a mechanical counter is performed in the billing meter count up processing. In case of trouble ON, only count up of the receiving count storage area is performed, and count up operation of the mechanical counter is not performed. RESET processing is started upon receiving a RESET signal and if the count is not '0' as a result of receiving count check of the count up signal, billing meter count up processing is started and count up operation of a mechanical counter is performed. |
