PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light rubber plug having high drop out preventing function and high handling workability. SOLUTION: An annular protruding line 6 is formed around a cylinder part 3 to be supported of the rubber plug 1 caulked and engaged by a bending piece 13 of a terminal 10, and in caulking, the protruding line 6 is deformed elastically by the bending piece 13, so that the contact pressure is stored, and desired caulking force can be provided. In this state, there is no contact between a front end face of the bending piece 13 and a flange part 4 of the rubber plug 1, and the flange part 4 will not be damaged. As a result of this, the drop out preventing function of the rubber plug 1 is enhanced, and durability in a state of being attached to a terminal can be enhanced.
