PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stable manufacturing by securing high yield ratio and elongating life of mold and die. SOLUTION: With the electrode plate 3 for a battery obtained from a band plate-shaped or a large-plate electrode plate 1 by a punching process with at least one opposite side adjoined to each other as a common side, if one opposite side along an adjoining direction of the electrode plates 3 adjacent to each other with the side in common is to be a side A, and a common side a side B, a corner part made by the side A and the side B is to be a chamfered corner part 11, which not only prevents short-circuiting due to corner break of the electrode plates 3, but also enables manufacturing with good yield ratio by punching process by adjoining the electrode plates 3 and getting rid of a gap between the corner parts 11, 11. Moreover, since there is no need of providing a long-extended part of narrow width for punching, a longer life for the mold and die is attained. |
