The automobile has the sliding sunroof opening (12) covered by a security web or mesh upon activation of the automobile anti-theft alarm system. The mesh width of the security web or mesh is sufficiently large to allow effective ventilation of the automobile passenger compartment, while preventing entry of insects. The security web or mesh may be attached to a frame (16), moved into the sealed position for the sunroof opening via an electric motor upon activation of the anti-theft alarm. |
