FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves knitting or sewing from fabric fur coat base and covering the entire surface thereof with hand convex embroidering by means of needle and threads and/or ribbons and/or cords and at least one of following stitches: one type of stitching involves winding one or two coils of thread onto needle, fastening resultant node by pulling needle down through initial surface with following withdrawing needle up onto initial surface and making subsequent node in the vicinity of first previous node and covering in such manner the entire selected portion of base; making another type of stitching by spiral winding of thread on needle surface from needle eyelet to tip, passing thread through obtained thread cocoon by shifting it onto thread and leaving inside cocoon only needle eyelet, with said operation being repeated as many times as is required for reaching predetermined length, pressing tailing end of thread cocoon to its leading end and twisting together both cocoon halves to unite them into spiral, fastening spiral in portion where first puncturing with needle was made; making third type of stitching by staged twisting of thread onto needle for producing cocoon of required length and changing space between points of attachment of cocoon depending on predetermined volume of loop obtained from cocoon. Coat of such structure is as good in its warming qualities as fur coats from natural fur. Moreover, method allows fur of any type (karakul, mink or sheepskin) to be simulated by precise representing of fur texture or unique color decoration of coat surface. EFFECT: simplified method, provision for obtaining high artistic work of clothing and reduced production cost due to use of materials other than natural or artificial fur. 4 cl, 2 dwg
