PURPOSE: A thin film transistor liquid crystal display device is provided to realize the higher electric fields and lower liquid crystal cell gap by concave and convex electrode structure, thereby improving the response performance of liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor liquid crystal display device includes upper and lower substrates(38,20) disposed oppositely for keeping a predetermined liquid crystal cell gap, a plurality of first common electrodes(23) disposed on the lower substrate by a predetermined interval, second common electrodes(32) disposed on a rear surface of the upper substrate facing the first common electrodes, an insulating film(36) formed on the entire surface of the lower substrate and the first common electrodes and having a plurality of bent concave and convex portions positioned between the first common electrodes to be separated by a predetermined interval on the lower substrate. |
