METHOD FOR DYEING FIBER STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a fiber structure by which the fiber structure including an elastic fiber or the fiber structure including a copolymerized easily dyeable polyester-based fiber can be dyed by using a dispersion dye without causing the reduction of color fastness after the dyeing without causing shrinkage of the dyed product while hardly providing the environmental loading. SOLUTION: (1) This method for dyeing the fiber structure including the elastic fiber or the fiber structure including the copolymerized easily dyeable polyester-based fiber in a medium by using the dispersion dye comprises carrying out the dyeing by using supercritical carbon dioxide as the medium under a condition of a temperature higher than that at the critical point and a pressure higher than that at the critical point, and lowering the temperature and the pressure of the medium to the temperature lower than that at the critical point and the pressure lower than that at the critical point. (2) Preferably, the method for dyeing the fiber structure is carried out by using the temperature of the supercritical carbon dioxide >=5 deg.C higher than the critical temperature of the carbon dioxide.
