<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method and an optical writing recording medium ensuring good image recording. SOLUTION: A display layer 53 for recording an image depending on an applying voltage, an optical switching layer 56 including a charge generating layer 56a having a resistance variable depending on the quantity of irradiation light, a charge transport layer 56b, and a charge generating layer 56c, and a set of electrode layers 52 and 57 sandwiching the display layer 53 and the optical switching layer 56 are laminated between a set of substrates 51 and 58 to constitute an optical writing recording medium 50. While irradiating the optical switching layer 56 of the optical writing recording medium 50 with an imagewise light based on image information delivered from a PC 46, or the like, a driving pulse train voltage having positive and negative polarities switching alternately is applied between the set of electrode layers 52 and 57 thus recording an image onto the display layer 53.</p> |
