摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain the pressure distribution on the surface of a nip roll in real time with high precision when adjustment is performed as to a method and device for measuring the nip pressure and pressure distribution of nip rolls that various industrial machines are equipped with, e.g. the press roll of a paper making machine and a method and a device for adjusting the nip pressure. SOLUTION: By the nip pressure distribution measuring method which measures the distribution of the nip pressure between a couple of opposing nip rolls 1a and 1b, the nip pressure is measured in the form of an electric signal at a plurality of points between the nip rolls 1a and 1b while the nip pressure is generated by the nip rolls 1a and 1b, the electric signals are converted into pressure information as digital data, and according to the pressure information, the distribution of the nip pressure is found.
