PURPOSE: A method for making a facsimile image in the UMS(Unified Messaging System) is provided to obtain the high readability of the data, to check out a data expression syntax, to realize the structural expression of the data, to remove a necessity of the program change when a facsimile image format is changed, and to be compatible with an international standard data format. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile conversion server receives a request for the facsimile transmission from a web application server and draws up an FXML(Facsimile Extensible Markup Language) program based on a predetermined template(S501,S502). The syntax of the FXML program is examined(S504). If the syntax has no problem, the facsimile conversion server analyzes the FXML structure of the program(S505). Thereafter, the facsimile conversion server creates the facsimile image(S506). The heading, the footing and the page number are marked on a page(S507). The facsimile image is transmitted to a telephone application server. The telephone application server sends a facsimile document to a facsimile(S508).
