<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment that retrieves a route information management table at a high speed so as to share communication information based on destination information and transmission source information included in communication information from a transmission source. SOLUTION: An asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) cell reception section 6 extracts ATM cell information from a transmission cell and an internet protocol(IP) packet reproduction section 9 decodes an IP packet. A memory 4 stores an IP table making a destination IP address and route information correspond to each other. A memory 8 stores a virtual path identifier(VPI) table deciding an IP table retrieval range for each sender VPI. A transmission VPI read section 7 extracts a VPI from ATM cell information and acquires IP table access control information in cross reference with the VPI from the VPI table, and an IP table access control retrieval section 13 retrieves the transmission IP address extracted by the transmission IP address read section 7 from the IP packet in the IP table retrieval range corresponding to the VPI from the information and sends the route information corresponding thereto to a transmission information processing section 5, which shares the transmission cell to an output port.</p> |
