METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A CURSOR, A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR USING SAME AND A CURSOR CONTROL SYSTEM

The invention relates to a method for controlling a cursor (11) on a graphical interface (10) of a computer (1), comprising the following steps, consisting in: - pre-defining the properties of a pointing object (8); - acquiring successive digital images; detecting, in each digital image, the presence of the pointing object in the form of a part of the image presenting said pre-defined properties; - when one such image part is detected, marking a reference point for said image part; - controlling said cursor on the graphical interface. The inventive method is characterised in that the digital image acquisition step consists in filming a work surface (7) on which, in service, a point (16) of said pointing object is moved. The reference point marking step comprises an operation involving the marking of a bend point of said image part according to a predetermined direction, said reference point being defined according to said bend point.
