The rotor disk (8) is on a shaft in bearings. It has blades (10) on an inner bearing ring (11) to serve as the pump's active elements, acting with the stator. The thickness of the blades, measured in the circumferential direction, decreases in the axial direction from the induction aperture (2) towards the gas outlet aperture.
