PURPOSE: A back cover for shielding electron waves of an image device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain a light-weight back cover at a low cost while maintaining the conductive property for shielding the micro current and the electron wave. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a back cover for shielding electron waves of an image device includes the steps of preparing a back cover main body with polymer synthetic resin by vacuum forming technology, carrying out base coating to the main body of the back cover, vacuum-depositing a conductive metal material to an outside of the main body of the back cover by using a vacuum depositing machine, and carrying out top coating for the main body of the back cover, wherein the conductive material is to be aluminum, nickel, chromium and copper, and the main body of the back cover is formed of a non-conductive material.
