PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method capable of obtaining a casting few in shrinkage, etc., to the utmost by casting wherein a forging material such as a forging aluminum alloy is used. SOLUTION: In casting a desired shaped casting by bringing an aluminum alloy molten metal poured in a cavity 11c of a mold 10 into contact with a magnesium nitride (Mg3 N2 ) as a reducing compound into contact, while reducing an oxide film formed on the surface of the molten metal, a molten metal obtained by melting the forging aluminum alloy is used as the molten metal. |
